Kodak is filling the airwaves where I live with a host of Kodak printer commercials. The main theme is how others like HP, Canon or whoever, are ripping us off in the price they charge for ink. Kodak claims that their ink is so cheap, it borders on being almost free. OK. I exaggerated slightly.

I fell for the advertisement hook, line and sinker.
I didn’t research it first. I ordered and within a week I had to change the printer cartridges. The ink cartridges are much cheaper but I got no where near what Kodak claims. I printed less than 10 black and white pages and was forced to change both ink cartridges. I’ve had it for about 4 months and I’ve changed the ink cartridges 3 times. I do not print many documents and less pictures. I would say you can average about 20 documents each(optimistically.) Being generous here by saying 5 pictures. I would say that I would need to buy 6 or 7 versus my old HP. They are cheaper but…. well you get the idea.
I would rate the Kodak ESP5 all in one a big fat “F”
Be very, very cautious. I think Kodak is laughing all the way to the bank on this one.
